Canarsie Plaza is a one and two story, five building, ±217,000 SF GLA, mixed use retail shopping center with office space located on 13 acres in Brooklyn, New York.
The developer is Acadia Realty Trust with Greenberg Farrow as Architect-of-Record and Acadia Construction Related Services providing construction management. Construction began June 2009, and is due for completion in November 2010. Major tenants include BJ’s Wholesale Club and the NYPD.
IVI is providing project management oversight services, which consist of construction cost control, review of contract drawings and specifications; and the review of construction and building loan documents, schedules, permits, and approvals. While under construction, IVI is providing payment requisition disbursement control services and confirming general compliance of construction with the project documents.
