IVI Consults on Montage Resort Hotel & Residences

Montage Resort

IVI’s Project Management Oversight Division has been retained on behalf of the construction lender to be their consultant on the Montage Resort Hotel and Residences. The all-season mountaintop resort, due to open December 2010, sits between the ski slopes and wooded valleys of the Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah. According to Ski Magazine, Deer Valley is one of American’s favorite ski resorts. Project amenities include restaurants, lounges, indoor and outdoor pools, 35,000 SFG spa and fitness center, and 17,000 SFG of conference space.

This 13-story, 173-guestroom, 91-unit luxury residential condominium, 955,000 SFG retreat is being developed by The Athens Group. The general contractor is Layton Construction Company, Inc., and the architect is Hill Glazier Architects, Inc.

IVI is providing project management oversight services consisting of construction cost control; reviewing contract drawings and specifications; and the reviewing of construction and building
loan documents, schedules, permits, and approvals. During the construction, IVI is providing payment requisition disbursement control services and ensuring general compliance of construction with the project documents. IVI was also retained to prepare a Phase I Environment Site Assessment on this resort.
