RealShare NJ Conference

The eighth-annual RealShare NEW JERSEY will bring together high-level executives in the state's commercial real estate sector and government officials at a time when information and networking could not be more important. The nation is deep in recession. Federal officials are working to repair-and reset-the ailing capital markets. What is the future of New Jersey investment and development when the face of our nation's capital markets-and economy-are changing on a daily basis? Will existing projects continue see the necessary funding for completion? Could new projects be sidelined in anticipation of a strong CRE recovery in two, or three years?

Clearly, the issues are in abundance. RealShare NEW JERSEY is an important platform to connect with old colleagues and develop new relationships. Additionally, you will hear from economic and civic executives who will paint the picture of how New Jersey could stand to benefit (or not benefit) from aggressive new spending measures, and what they will mean for you, the developer, investor/owner, financier or broker, who is working through this period-arguably one of the more challenging real estate cycles.

The renovation involves removing the mall's roof, a gutting of its interior, and the creation of public walkways and an indoor/outdoor dining deck.

The program will feature a panel including representatives from the development team as well as key figures from the City of Santa Monica and will highlight important emerging trends in land use and real estate development including reuse of aging retail malls and reinvestment in pedestrian oriented downtown environments.
